    To whom it may concern,

Although this post is intended for you, you will not know of this until I’m through with you by the end of this year, to protect my privacy.

I applaud you for your effort to ensure better training exposure for us and for succeeding in negotiating a memorandum for us. Bravo and thank you! While this is an honourable gesture, it also entails many issues related to it, which unfortunately, are poorly handled.

While one effort is admirable, there’s no action to deal with the consequences. First and foremost, the B.U.S. issue. On one hand, this provided an indispensable solution for the transportation problem, on the other, you should be aware that the cheap lousy buses that you rent/bought are polluting the southern states, not to mention repeated breakdowns and non functioning air-condition in a windowless bus for the entire 45 minute - 1 hour journey!

Let’s face it. The bus and all the related revenue is not only preventing you from getting even richer, the petrol consumption is no friend to the environment.

So, as a solution, which is actually precedented by your (smarter) counterpart, how about relocating final year students (or any year of your preference) to Muar for the entire year. Meaning, you would be able to rid your responsibility of us and we would be fully responsible for our own – rentals, bills, etc.

Not only does this save our time of travelling (because leaving at 7am is actually a rather dumb idea), it’s also better for the environment in a long run (in this day and age, not a very distant future actually). But of course, this indirectly means that there’ll be many vacant rooms in the hostel and you would have to lose out on the ridiculously overcharged fees. I supposed it does balance out with the buses expenditure, and more importantly, the ENVIRONMENT.

Also, there’ll be other chain of issues regarding lecturers, MIA students issue, etc. That’s your job to sort them out.

In other words, instead of worrying about our attire in the library to “uphold your image”, why not channel your “concern” to the buses that bear your logo, which are travelling along the highway everyday. I mean, who the hell comes to the library to check on OUR dressing, to place judgment on YOU?

As it is, we have no choice but to dress up professionally in this scorching heat during the day, forcing us to do the same after office hour is just an ingenious way to stop us from stepping into the library. Mind you, I’m talking about dressing comfortably but decently.

There are bigger issues here. Hello!

Do what is important and forego what is not. Paint a bigger picture please. You shouldn’t be needing me to remind you that you are running a professional course, not a military camp.
